Inside the SoaR House

Posted by Jonah Raj on

On April 25, 2017, SoaR announced the acquisition of a team house.

The acquisition of a team house was something that has been in the works for a long period of time and is something that is a huge milestone for SoaR as an organization.

There were two influential factors behind the decision to get a team house. Overall, there was a general feeling that it would improve the content produced, and the team would be centralized. This, in turn, will allow for a higher level of productivity, which allows for a more structured and organized approach to the content produced. The introduction of the house also has the potential to allow for more organized collaboration with other members and teams in SoaR.

General was able to provide some insight as to what life was like inside the SoaR house:
‘’Living in a team house is a lot of fun, it kinda gives you that sense of self accountability, but at the same time you also have a entire house of friends that you can do things with at all hours of the day. In terms of YouTube and streaming, you can always have someone to stream or make videos with which is very nice from a content side of things. You can constantly bounce ideas back and forth and get immediate feedback on your content to help improve it. From a business side of things we can then create a bunch of fun and enjoyable content for our sponsors and partners.’’
The esports teams will also have the opportunity to be at the SoaR house before their major competitions. This will allow them to create content beforehand with the rest of the members living in the house, and thus enhance their personal brand. The house would also allow them time to get together and discuss the upcoming competition and make any necessary preparations face to face, as opposed to communicating and preparing online. This will also potentially enhance the personal relationship within the respective teams.

Over the coming months, there will be a huge increase in the amount of content produced on both the SoaR channel and the personal channels of the residents of the SoaR house. There will be a noticeable increase in quality of content as well.

There will be some major announcements in the near future, and that is something that management simply cannot wait to share with you guys.
