The online portion of the SMITE Console League finished recently, however, the action will soon resume as the top four teams in the league will travel to Valencia, in Spain, for the summer finals.
The top three teams from North America in the form of Obey Alliance, SoaR Gaming and Astral Authority, as well as the top European team, Team Rival, will compete against each other for their share of a $50,000 prize pool, and most importantly, the title of Summer Split Champions.
The tournament format is as follows:
- Thursday, July 13: Semifinals 1 (BO3)
- Friday, July 14: Semifinals 2 (BO3)
- Saturday, July 15: Finals (BO5)
The prize pool split is as follows:
- 1st: $20,000
- 2nd: $15,000
- 3rd: $7,500
- 4th: $7,500
SoaR will be competing in semi finals #2, as shown below:
They will be competing against Team Rival, the top European team from the SCL. If SoaR takes out the best of three vs. Team Rival, then they could either meet Obey Alliance or Astral Authority in the finals of the tournament.
